The South Arkansas Historical Preservation Society is inviting applications for new members to join our Board of Directors. As a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving, interpreting, and promoting the history of South Arkansas, we rely on strong leadership and engaged community members to guide our mission.
We’re Looking For Individuals Who:
Have a genuine interest in South Arkansas’s history, culture, and heritage.
Bring experience or skills in non-profit leadership, fundraising, finance, community relations, or public history.
Exhibit integrity, sound judgment, and a spirit of collaboration.
Are willing to actively participate in board meetings, committees, and Society events.
Are enthusiastic about advocating for the Society’s mission and helping it grow in impact and visibility.
Serving on our board is an opportunity to make a lasting contribution to the preservation of our region’s story and to strengthen the cultural foundation of our community.
